OMG.... My bachelorette party in New York City was out of control and so much fun! I had an extremely great time seeing my college girlfriends!
Let's head back to the beginning....
On Friday, I flew to Philly and met up with my Maid of Honor Sarah, Bridesmaid Lauren, and friend Scully. We promptly headed to the liquor store, bought champagne and orange juice, and made mimosas for the three hour bus ride to NYC. I would show you photographs of the bus ride, but its way too embarrassing. :) Here's my girlfriends waiting for the bus in front of Penn Station:
Upon arriving to NYC, we somehow drunkenly navigated through Times Square and located the Grand Central Station....
...which made it easy to find out hotel, the Hyatt.
We hung out, gossiped, drank some more, danced to music, and ordered pizza ($50 for two pies, NYC is insane) while we waiting for our other four friends to arrive.
Happily, I got to drink from a penis straw (one of my requests as the bachlorette!) Sorry if this is lewd! Haha..
Once everyone arrived, my Maid of Honor (MOH) Sarah busted out with our fun t-shirts! My simply said:

We loved our shirts! So fun! Here's the blondes...

At this point, Sarah covered my eyes with a blindfold and handed me a cocktail. Here I am, doing the "screw in the lightbulb" dance (it's an inside joke):
Then they proceeded to put fake tattoos all over my arms, a penis veil in my hair, a gigantic blinky engagement ring that doubled as a shot glass on my hand, and candy necklaces on my wrist (which I later inhaled at the bar, it was a great idea!).
Here's my super awesome penis veil. It blinked and had sewn-on condoms. A great conversation starter!
Then we went out to a bar called On the Wagon. It was in the NYU area, so it was a chill bar with loads of young people. Rolling into a bar with 7 hot ladies in matching t-shirts buys you a lot of free drinks, I'm telling you! I don't have any good (read: appropriate) photographs of myself drinking, and I'm not sure my friends would appreciate me sharing pics of them bonging beers (yes, they had a beer bong at the bar), so use your imagination!
The next morning, I woke up and practically RAN to Starbucks to get a coffee and Perfect Oatmeal.
Once everyone was showered and recovered (which took longer for some of us), we met in the lobby...
And headed out for sightseeing!
Again - IT WAS SO COLD! But it was worth it to see....
The Rockefeller Tree! I was so pumped, I've only seen it on TV. I can't believe it's a real tree.
It's starting to feel a LOT like Christmas!
We also popped into Grand Central Station and shopped in Times Square. We grabbed lunch around 12...
We hit up a cafeteria-style deli, which gave me a chance to get in some fruits and veggies..
And around 4 PM, we had lunch number 2 at a place in Time Square. I got French Onion Soup and a salad. I also had a beer :)
Hair of the dog that bite you!
We went back to the hotel around 5 PM, and I promptly crashed in bed for a two hour nap. We all woke up, got showered, and headed out for a Saturday evening on the town!
And guess what?? I got to ride in a LIMO! AHHHHH! I was freaking out!
Oh yea - and it started to SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I was so excited. Too much happy emotion!
Yea - it was really cold with my bare legs! My Yankee friends thought I was insane.
We went to a restaurant in the meat-packing district called Vento. It was Italian and the prices were so.... normal! Like I was dining in Orlando, not NYC! I highly recommend this place.
I started things off with a lovely cocktail! I got the Vento Arancione, which was Stoli Orange Vodka, mandarian juice, prime arance, and blood orange. YUM! There was a sprig of fresh rosemary on the top.
And a few slices of warm bread.
By the second slice of bread, I was on cocktail number 2, which was Jamaican Rum with ginger ale and condensed cranberry juice. OMG - amazing! (and strong).
I ordered the Cacio E Pere salad, which was endive, radicchio, roasted pear, gorgonzola, and a honey-balsamic dressing (on the side).
I also ordered a "small place" of Rotolini, which was three finger-length pasta rolls of roasted eggplant and ricotta cheese.
After our meal, the waiter brought out a free bottle of champagne (I LOVE FREE STUFF), and I made a special toast to all my lovely friends.
Unsurprisingly, dessert was divine! I had the Apple Pie Coppette, which was cinnamon apples, amarette gelato, and streusel crunch.
After dinner, we got snuck in to the club downstairs via the backdoor (thanks, Manager!), and we also received free drink passes. Again - I heart free stuff! The club was awesome, they played THREE BRITNEY SONGS!
We danced the night away, although I didn't drink anymore. I was pretty cocktailed out by this point! We were pretty ridiculous.
And we got to ride in a limo AGAIN on the way home. Much playing with the radio and lights ensued...
And.... that was my weekend, pretty much! Sunday, we woke up, showered, grabbed breakfast, got on a bus (immediately before boarding, I witnessed a mugging, so my NYC experience was complete), and drove back to Philly.
I took a loooong flight back to Orlando and finished up my NEW favorite book, Twilight.
All in all, my bach party was an amazing experience and definitely got me even more (if this is feasibly possible) excited for the wedding!
I DO feel like I need to enter a serious food and alcohol detox program! :) I was happy to get back to normal eating this morning and am really ready to hit the gym! :)
