After my 5K, I took a nap, showered, and had a Clif Bar.
Meghann gave me this today and I was very anxious to taste the elusive Holiday Clif bars! Verdict -- it was OK. Not amazing like a Spooky Smore Z-Bar or anything, but still very good.
Then, we went to the mall to do some honeymoon shopping. I didn't find anything I liked, but we did get a chance to stop of at the tux store and double-check our reservations.
We grabbed a late lunch at Red Star Tavern...
We sat outside and enjoyed the winter breeze. I ordered the Hong Kong Chicken Salad with some modifications.
To transform this salad into something more healthy, I requested grilled chicken, dressing on the side, and no crispy wontons. I also skipped the avocado (but only because I'm allergic).
It was delish! I couldn't finish it, though.
And then.... I fulfilled Future Husband's every wish, hope, and desire.
I let him buy another flat screen TV.
He did the preliminary research yesterday, and we checked out Circuit City and Best Buy tonight. Now.... we *already* have a 42-inch plasma Phillips TV with ambient light (which is AWESOME), but Future Husband has been begging and pleading for another TV for months!
Now, we didn't buy our first TV outright and we certainly cannot afford to buy this one outright either. Best Buy and Circuit City are BOTH offering 36 months with 0% financing, so we only have to make a low, low payment every month and in three years, it will actually be ours!! :)
We decided on this bad boy....
It's a Sony 52-inch LCD 1080 p HDTV with 120 hz. That might be gibberish to you, but trust me -- the See Bride Run and Future Husband family KNOW their TV lingo! :P
Our deal also included: free delivery, free installation, and a FREE BlueRay player. The retail stores are bleeding this season!
It's being delivered on next Monday! Our 42-inch TV is being transferred to the bedroom. Now, it's "my" tv. Woo hoo!
I came home and made soup, crackers, and cheese.
And now... I'm off to reading Twilight and munch on a little chocolate.
