gobble

lunch today was an easy recipe i turn to often!

my turkey burgers (wrapped in a WW pita) include 1/4 lb 99% fat free turkey, a tbsp of mustard, some chopped onions, chopped mushrooms, and bits of kale smashed together. i fry it in EVOO for a few seconds on each side to brown, and then pop it in the oven at 375 for 25 minutes or so.

gobbley goodness:

on the side i had some baked sweet potato rounds with a sprinkle of ketchup, and some sugar snap peas with almonds.

say hello to the leaning tower of satiety!

I just found your blog and am so excited to find the glucosamine tip below-- I'm planning to start taking it as pre-hab, since I'm super careful when it comes to my knees!

TFH-

great idea! i shouldve begun taking it sooner. it works really well. there is some conflicting research, but speaking from personal experience, IT WORKS. my knees don't pop or ache as much anymore.

i saw this paragraph in last month's issue of Men's Health:

"Glucosamine is a building block of connective tissue, while chondroitin helps cartilage retain water so it stays flexible. Together, they soothe joints by keeping cartilage supple and in good supply. A recent study in the New England Journal of Medicine reports that 79% of men who took 1500 mg glucosamine and 1200 mg of chondroitin daily felt a significant reduction in chronic knee pain."

So.... I plan to start taking chondroitin too very soon! :)
